N.C State vs UCONN Huskies
Fortunately for the participants and spectators of the N.C State football program, it’s a new week and a new opponent. Unfortunately for the Huskies, the Wolfpack are looking to use the disappointing loss to Tennessee as fuel to drive through the Connecticut’s defense; by way of Mike Glennon’s right arm. Even though the game vs. Tennessee didn’t produce a win, there were flashes of what’s to come from Quintin Payton and the talented stable of wide receivers.
All-American cornerback, David Amerson, received his tailor made suit of amnesia in practice this week, like attending church on Sundays, anticipating a good comeback game from him would be the right to do. C.J Wilson is still serving his four game suspension so the secondary is looking to fill the void until his arrival, leaving Amerson to step up this week in a big way.
The Huskies are preparing to utilize their pass rush with their defensive line, Glennon is looking to expose their secondary, and the offensive line of NC State is looking to make a difference in Glennon’s exposure efforts. All of which will be determined on third-downs as the Huskies only allowed a conversion of 32 percent, in three out of five wins last season.
The Wolfpack prepared this week fully aware of Lyle McCombs 23 carries for 82 yards of last week, with no intentions of giving that up, according to Mike Archer’s design. Four interceptions and one touchdown removed from a week ago, Glennon is projected to perform a heart transplant on the passing game and produce big numbers for the first win of the season. This game is very much anticipated for Wolfpack fans, as they are eagerly looking to rejuvenate themselves at the Huskies expense.

good job my boy! Your off to a good start….
