Athlete Angelo Jean-Louis committed to the Miami Hurricanes for the class of 2012, but had to take the prep route and enrolled into Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia. The former Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central star caught up with Caneinsider.com to discuss his progress.

“I’m doing great, killing it on-and-off the gridiron,” Jean-Louis said, 6-foot, 185-pounds.

He’s been putting in a lot of work in the weight room to get stronger and bigger. So far, it’s paying off. “[I have] been working out hard getting way bigger,” Jean-Louis said. “I’m at 204.4-pounds now. Lifting is where my peace is.”

While he is doing well, he is very excited to get down to Coral Gables, Fla., and begin his career at the University of Miami. “I can’t wait to get to Miami and make my impact in the ACC.”

Jean-Louis will bring added depth to the wide receiver position at The U. He was said to be one of the top recruits for the 2012 class.
