Alex Collins Ends the Suspense, Commits to Arkansas
Arkansas gets a big commitment in five-star running back Alex Collins. The South Plantation (Fla.) ball carrier saw his recruitment explode his senior season after putting together a great performance on the field.
Collins, 5-foot-11 and 210-pounds, committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks live on The NEW College Football Show: Next Class 2013 hosted by Scout.com recruiting analysts Chad Simmons and Jamie Newberg.
It has been a roller coaster for Collins, coaches and fans alike since he de-committed from Miami to explore his other opportunities. Two of his top colleges, Florida State and Wisconsin, went through major coaching changes that “shocked” him. He took all five officials visits: Miami, Arkansas, Florida State, Florida and Wisconsin.
In the end, his two top two front-runners were Miami and Arkansas. Arkansas came into play when Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema left Wisconsin to the Razorbacks. Bielema continued to recruit Collins and made a hard push the entire time which paid off big in the end.

How can anyone in Florida see him play? No Arkansas games are televised in entire state unless they play the Gators?
